Squinting is a simple exercise that helps strengthen your eyesight. To do this, look at something close up and then focus on a point further away. Repeat this until you feel comfortable focusing on objects that are farther away.

 Looking up and down

Looking up and down is a great way to improve your vision. When looking down, try to focus on the floor below you. Then, look up and focus on the ceiling above you. Look back down and repeat the process.

 Closing your eyes

Close your eyes and concentrate on what you’re seeing. You may notice things that you didn’t before, like colors or shapes.

 Moving around

Try moving around while looking at something. Move your head side-to-side, up and down, and even backwards and forwards.

 Blinking

Blink often to help clear your eyes. If you find yourself having trouble doing this, try

blinking slowly.

 Using glasses

If you wear glasses, make sure they’re clean and well-lubricated. Also, take them off whenever possible.

 Reading

Reading is a good activity to do if you have trouble concentrating. Try reading a book, magazine, or newspaper.

(2) Now, focus on a point about 10 feet away from you. Look at it steadily for 5 seconds. Then, slowly move your eyes back to your nose. Repeat this several times.

(3) Focus on a point about 20 feet away from you. Hold it steady for 5 seconds. Move your eyes back to your face. Repeat this several times and then try focusing on a point 30 feet away from you.

(4) Look at a spot about 40 feet away from you. Focus on it for 5 seconds. Slowly move your eyes back to the center of your field of view. Repeat this several times before moving to the next step.

(5) Focus on a point 60 feet far from you. Keep looking at it for 5 seconds. Then move your eyes back to where they were originally. Repeat this many times, and then try focusing on something 80 feet far from you. If you have trouble seeing far away objects, use a magnifying glass to help you out.

(6) Try looking at a distant object (such as a mountain) for 5 seconds. Then slowly move your eyes back. Repeat this many times to see if you can increase your distance perception.

(7) Hold a pen between your eyebrows and stare at a distant object. After staring at it for 5 seconds, slowly move your eyes up and down. Do this several times to test your depth perception.
